Looking for good candidates. Whom should I vote?

I used to visit Pathatpratima and surrounding islands, quite frequently in the late 1980s. There used to be severe scarcity of safe drinking water, because the river water in the Gangetic delta is very brackish. I wonder if the drinking water situation has improved in the surrounding in these areas.

Bhabanipur constituency has changed its name and boundary three times, as far as I can remember. Bhabanipur was part of the Kalighat constituency in Kolkata. Later, the locality became a part of the Chowringhee constituency, and now Bhabanipur has become a constituency itself.

Both the sitting MP (of Trinamool Congress) & the contesting MLA (Trinamool Congress) also the Previous Forward Block MP have been persons from outside the constituency. Why cant political parties find locals? Is this not a insincerety towards the local electors?
